A chess clock for Commander
Per-player time banks that keep even a six-player game moving.

Commander games sprawl, and a slow turn in a six-player pod costs five other people their evening. Manatable's chess clock is optional. You turn it on in the lobby before the game starts, and each player gets their own time bank.
Pick a pace in the lobby
Choose a preset time bank, or set your own:
- Relaxed: 45 minutes
- Focused: 30 minutes
- Speedy: 20 minutes
- Custom: set your own bank
Armed at game start, paused through setup
The clock arms the moment the game starts but stays paused through setup and mulligans. Shuffling and mulliganing are free. The first player taps "Start Game Clock," which becomes "Pass Turn" for everyone after them.
Only the active player's bank drains
Time ticks down on whoever is taking their turn. Everyone else is frozen. When a bank hits zero the flag falls: you finish the current turn and you are out on the pass. Remaining time shows on each player's life card, so the table can watch someone run low in real time. And when your turn stalls on someone else's decision, you can pause your own clock and pick it back up when the table is ready.
When a device drops
The host can pause, resume, or force-pass a turn if someone's phone dies mid-game. Separately, a turn timeout ("on the clock") puts a single slow turn on its own countdown, independent of the full chess clock.
Turn order comes from seating
Time banks follow the same seat rotation the table is already using, so the clock and seating always agree about whose turn it is.
